Lil Yacthy, is a musician, rapper and musician, most famous for his hit single "One Night'. Miles Parks McCollum is his real name. He is also known as Nautica Boat Boy, Lil Boat and King Boat. The singer gained notoriety with his two mixtapes called 'Summer songs 2' and 'Lil Boot'. It wasn't his first try at singing. The first recognition came in August of 2015 with his two singles 'One Night' and 'Minnesota'. These tracks were released on his debut EP, Extended Play, called 'Summer Songs. The current roster of his music labels includes  Capital Records as well as a "Quality Control Music" and  Motown Records. In 2015, he adopted the title "Yachty" to move from Atlanta to New York. He wanted to achieve success in the world. He relocated to New York with a friend and began searching for ways to enter the music business. While there, he connected with online street fashion personalities and built up a decent following on Instagram. He created a partnership with Burberry Perry (producer and beat maker) and his second main collaborator K$upreme. They are collectively called 'The Saling Team'. They collaborated in Lil' Yachty's studio in his bedroom. His first breakthrough came after Drake's OVO Sound Radio aired his hit 'Minnesota'. His song "1Night" was Lil Yachty's first major hit. He uploaded the video of the track on YouTube and the song quickly became all over the internet. The SoundCloud version that he sang "One Night" became a popular meme the media was all over him.
